E-Cell Orientation

Hey, Everyone ! Kicking off my very first blog by taking the name of Lord Bappa. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to one and all.

So I am gonna share my experience and events which we conduct in E-Cell Council at Usha Mittal Institue Of Technology.

We conducted the very first event "E-Cell Orientation" on 30th August 2019 in conference room from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm.

E-Cell Orientation is all about defining E-Cell to our freshers i.e first yearites and direct second year students.We at E-Cell creates platform for those who have their startup ideas and want to expand their business ideas.

The orientation conducted successfully in the presence of Kolte Sir (our Council Advisor), Manoj Sir (teaching faculty) and Aathya maam (Administration faculty).The Orientation started by playing the university song. Nikita Desai, Chairperson and Vanditha Rai Co-Chairperson of E-Cell Council addressed the audience and gave report on last years events conducted by E-Cell.

The guest speaker was Mr. Dhanish Shah, an engineering student, an entrepreneur, blogger & motivational speaker .He told about his journey from a diploma student to an entrepreneur. Since we all were engineering students he spoke about modern engineering. He mentioned the students issues related to engineering life such as 75% attendance, morning first lecture, family restrictions, CGPA and placements. Later he gave solutions related to it. 

He gave new definitions to the words like HIM i.e Happiness Inspiration, Motivation. He told us to do whatever makes us happy in life. He told us to do CTRL+ALT+DEL i.e to control yourself, alter your thoughts and delete negativity.

Also I learned the new definitions for PCM, JEE & CGPA.

PCM : Personality, Confidence, Management.

 He told us to work on our personality rather than just mugging up the formulae of  Physic, Chemistry and Maths.

JEE : Joy, Enthusiasm, Emotions.To actively participate in areas of interest and enjoy the learning process and college life with Joy and Enthusiasm.

CGPA : Celebrations, Growth, Productivity, Achievement.he told us if we can learn this "PCM" and "JEE" then we can easily get "CGPA" and automatically we would achieve "HIM".

The audience were well motivated and enjoyed the event wholly.Last but not the least, Vote of thanks was given by Shefali Patil, Secretary, E-Cell Council.

Also we conducted an online slogan/poster making competition held on World Entrepreneurship Day i.e 21st August 2019.The posters were judged on the basis of Most Creative & Most Innovative posters.The prizes were bagged by Miss Komal Swain CST-3 (Most Creative) & Miss Shalini Thever ENC-2 (Most Innovative). Certificates were awarded to the winners.
